Primary Environment

Primary and Upper Primary Environment

3-6 years of age

The primary environment is a prepared, mixed-aged learning space that encourages the development of the world through the senses and intentionally promotes the development of the whole child emotionally, socially, and academically. The primary environment is rich with materials in the areas of Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, Science, and Cultural Studies.



*Upper Primary children must be 5 years of age before September 1

Transition Environment
